I was under the impression that LMA was a community of music listeners and lovers, not just fans of particular bands
I think the problem is that a lot of your reviews aren't constructive at all, they're just abusive. Maybe it's just me, but it's pretty obvious that making a comment like this:
I've seen these guys perform in Chicago and thought that their material was weak. This proves it. ... At least you can hear how bad they are in crystal clarity.
.. is probably going to spark some heated responses. I'm not sure how Mikey's response is surprising. Here's another example:
A wonderful SBD recording wasted on a tepid band. Sounds like the soundtrack for a made-for-TV movie. There's laid-back and then there's DULL.
Nice. You are definitely showing us a good example of a music lover with that kind of stuff. Do us all a favor and tone it down. Something like this gets the point across just as well without offending anyone.
